ANDI Cave & Cavern Diving Courses

You’ve dived in open water, ripped along coral reefs, plunged to the depths of freshwater quarries and explored the murky hulls of underwater wrecks. But you haven’t done anything untl you’ve tried cave diving.

One of the most challenging and exciting dives you can mke, caves are the final frontier for underwater explorers. And Aquanauts Technical Dive Centre has scouted out the best of the best caves in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

SafeAir Cavern Diver (Level 2)

Cave diving within the daylight zone of a cave entrance or cavern. RBS is required. The length of the course is 5 days. One day classroom, one day boat and two days with 4 cavern dives. Manuals, hotels and transportation to the cavern site not included.

Cave Diver (Level 3)

During this course you will go beyond the limits of the light zone. The depth limit to the cave course is 50 meter, decompression is limited to 30 minutes. During this course you will have one day classroom and will enjoy 8 cave dives with a limited bottom time of 240 minutes and 320 minutes run time. Full technical equipment will be used during this course. Student must be TSD qualified and cavern qualified.

Cave Explorer (Level 4)

Penetration during this level of diving is unlimited. Full technical equipment will be used with an unlimited time of decompression. There will be a minimum of 180 minutes of bottom time and a minimum of 360 minutes run time during the 6 cave dives. Student must be Level 3 cave qualified and also Extended Range Diver qualified. Price for this course may vary depending on location of course being taught. Does not include hotel rooms for student. Tank and equipment rental not included.

Cave Explorer (Level 5)

The final level of the cave diving courses for those who are up to the challenge. There will be four dives during this training course. Minimum bottom time of 150 minutes and minimum or 240 minutes run time. Student must be Level 4 cave qualified and Tri-mix qualified. Student must have also completed 50 deco dives and 25 cave dives. Price for this course may vary depending on location of course being taught. Does not include hotel rooms for student. Tank and equipment rental not included.

Course Enrollment Details

Enrollment in a technical course guarantees you excellent and complete training. However, it does not guarantee you a certification card. You must earn that. All of our training is performance based.

A deposit is required to hold your spot in a class. The deposit is nonrefundable and is 50% of the minimum charge for that class. If you need to change dates, it must be done two weeks before the first day of class, or the deposit is forfeited. The balance is due on the first day of class. Course fees are based on successful completion of all requirements in the minimum number of days or dives. If additional days are required to complete your training, the cost is 4,500 baht per day per diver on technical courses excluding tanks and equipment fees.
